Position Summary Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is now accepting applications for its Summer 2026 Intern Program. This exciting opportunity offers a paid, 10-week experience for selected UNDERGRAD OR GRAD (based on HM request) students. The program will run from June 1 to August 7. Eligible students will be seniors or recent graduates, possess U.S. work authorization, and be able to work full-time on a 5-day-per-week on-site schedule. Additionally, participation in this program requires that you be located in the United States for the duration of the engagement. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, so early submission is encouraged. Role and Responsibilities Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated intern to join our strategy department within a sales organization. The intern will focus on automating data cleaning, report creation, and distribution processes to enhance operational efficiency. The role involves reverse engineering existing reports, optimizing Excel files, and implementing improvements to reduce manual work and improve performance. Familiarity with Python for scripting and automation will be an added advantage. This is a unique opportunity to make an immediate impact on the day-to-day operations of a multi-billion-dollar account. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work proactively in an organized manner. Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities Automate Data Cleaning Processes: Develop and implement Python scripts to streamline data cleaning tasks, reducing manual effort and improving accuracy. Reverse Engineer Existing Reports: Analyze and understand the structure and logic of current reports to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Qualifications Education: Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student (or recent graduate). Seniors or recent graduates preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (functions, formulas, features). Familiarity with Python for data manipulation, automation, and scripting. Experience with data cleaning and processing using Excel and Python. Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to work proactively and adapt to new challenges. Preferred Experience: Prior experience with data analysis, Excel automation, Python scripting, or similar projects.
