Position Summary In your role as a Diffusion Process Technician at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, you’ll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of production tools to support world-class foundry operations 24/7. We prioritize safety, learning, and having fun. You will continuously encounter technical issues that challenge and sharpen your skills. Role and Responsibilities Job Description Here’s what you’ll be responsible for: Follow SOPs, PTPs, and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) to work efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) including mechanical assembly/disassembly on fab equipment Use structured problem solving to help find impactful solutions to complex problems Affectively communicate with engineers, leaders, and teammates Work in a team environment on the cleanroom floor in a full cleanroom smock Skills and Qualifications Here’s what you’ll need: High School diploma is required Technical degree preferred but not required Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong mechanical aptitude highly desired • Effective verbal and written communication skills.   The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60/hour - $60.40/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance. Night Shifts Include: B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays D Shift – Wednesday through Friday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays Total Rewards At Samsung SAS, base pay is just one part of our total compensation package. The base compensation for this role will depend on education, experience, skills, and location.
