Your job, as Global Category Buyer for External Manufacturing based in China, will be to manage Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) across the JPAC (Japan & Asia Pacific) region for Small Molecules, Large Molecules, and Vaccines External manufacturing Business. You will ensure the selection of high-quality CMOs in alignment with our commercial manufacturing strategy. Your fact-based negotiations and performance-based contracting will safeguard our company's interests while driving value across the entire supply chain. Main Responsibilities Lead sourcing of goods and services within External Manufacturing & Supply activities for   Small Molecules, Large Molecules, and Vaccines business in the APAC region Develop and execute sourcing strategies ensuring global participation, alignment, and adoption across Japan and Asia Pacific markets Market Analysis, Spend Analysis, RFI/RFP/RFQ, Supplier Evaluation, Contract Negotiation, Risk Management, Compliance  & SRM Build and maintain strategic relationships with CMOs throughout the JPAC region Execute and implement contracts/agreements with CMOs across all therapeutic modalities Align with Finance and the Business to capture and monitor external budget spends and deliver world-class total savings objectives across   GBUs Ensure procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality) within the perimeter Experience , Skills & Competencies Required Experience: Ensure procurement technical excellence (TCO, SRM, Market Intel, Risk Management, Innovation, CSR, HSE, compliance, quality) within the perimeter      Technical Skills: Strong Knowledge of best-in-class Procurement techniques and processes Possesses strong competency in networking across various stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes. Strong business acumen and ability to build sustainable business connectivity. Solid listening and communication skills Capability to work in a matrix and complex environment Strong communicator with ability to adapt style and approach according to audience. Consistency of focus upon delivery of outcomes and results. High level of analytical skills and ability to utilize tools/systems accordingly.
