We are looking for a GPU PCIe and Boot architect. NVIDIA is seeking outstanding engineers to design the architecture and infrastructure for boot, PCIe/CXL enumeration, and capability discovery. What you’ll be doing: As a member of the architecture team, you will understand and optimize how GPU sub-system modules interoperate. Architect and plan features and infrastructure components in collaboration with software, hardware, and verification teams. Build functional and performance models, along with test plans, to validate your designs. Support post-silicon validation activities as needed. Work with architects, software engineers, designers, and verification engineers worldwide to successfully implement your tasks. What we need to see: Recently completed a BS or MS in compute architecture, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering (or related degree) or equivalent experience. Experience in crafting code in C or C++. Coursework or similar experience in ASIC design and Computer architecture. Good debugging and analytical skills Ways to stand out from the crowd: Familiarity with advanced interconnect technologies such as PCIe, AXI, or NVLink. Solid grasp of contemporary operating system principles and architecture. Exposure to modern security paradigms, including encryption techniques. Knowledge of RISC-V architecture and microcode development. NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers. The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 178,250 USD for Level 1, and 124,000 USD - 195,500 USD for Level 2. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .
