What you'll be doing: Provide direction and guidance to your local team covering AV operations (contractor roles include drivers, test operators, coordinators) and run our regional operations with excellence and efficiency Drive priorities to ensure our development and test fleet achieves schedule/scope/budget targets, proactively elevate risks and obstacles Work with matrixed team of partners from hardware, software, operations, customers and other teams to identify gaps, resolve issues and provide RCCA Proactively define and provide critical metrics and initiate improvements for efficiencies and report test execution and efficiency Ensure compliant, flexible and efficient AV operations establishing and tuning matching trainings and processes to keep your assigned location fully compliant What we need to see: BS degree or greater in an engineering or SW field (or equivalent experience) The role requires 5+ overall years of working experience of which 2+ years of experience leading a team Hands-on experience with automotive and/or software product development and operations, ideally in an AV domain or an equivalent field like aviation Strong project/program/product management fundamentals Culture of continuous learning, ongoing process improvement, and a first-principles approach to problem-solving Experience in influencing decisions and leading teams in a multi-functional environment, comfortable with ambiguity Excellent communication and presentation abilities Ways to stand out from the crowd: Successfully delivering products from concept through launch Deep understanding of product development processes, including fundamentals of automotive electronics, sensors and software On the ground experience scaling vehicle operations Extensive experience with critical metrics and data analytics as well as reporting dashboards and workflow management systems (e.g. Tableau, JIRA) Master’s degree in engineering or business field, or equivalent experience, a plus Widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
