In this role, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to architecture, coding, testing, and deployment while ensuring high-quality and reliable deliverables. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. This position offers the chance to solve challenging technical problems, mentor junior engineers, and make a meaningful impact on the design, development, deployment, and operation of world-class software and features that add customer value.\nYour Responsibilities @ Aircall:Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customersHave key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of your developmentWrite clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systemsRevise, update, refactor, and debug codeParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clientsInvolvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoringParticipate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliabilityMentor junior members of the team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you doBasic Qualifications5+ years of professional experience in back-end or full-stack developmentExpert level programming ability with Typescript (+React), Python, or RubyDeep understanding of software development practices, scalable system architecture, security best practices and cloud-based platformsProven understanding of distributed computing principles and experience with cloud-based platformsExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex data issuesExcellent communication and collaboration skills, you should thrive while working in a cross-functional team environmentExperience with on-call rotations, and implementing monitoring and alerting systemsComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving prioritiesPreferred Qualifications7+ years of professional experience in back-end or full-stack development5+ years of experience of deploying software to cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Extensive experience owning your own software through the complete software development life cycleSignificant experience in delivering software with a focus for security, scalability, availability, and performance\n$150,000 - $220,000 a yearThis is not including equity and other benefits.
