This will involve staying up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations and identifying opportunities for tax planning.Providing consulting services to clients on various tax-related issues such as mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring.Conduct tax research to stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations and identify opportunities for tax planning.Responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns for clients, ensuring that they comply with relevant tax laws and regulations.Responsible for communicating with clients and stakeholders, including tax authorities and other regulatory bodies, to ensure that all tax-related matters are handled effectively and efficiently.Manage client relationships and ensure that clients are satisfied with the services provided by your team.Training and mentoring team membersQualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingMaster’s degree in Taxation preferredRecent experience working in a public accounting firm6+ experience years of federal tax consulting and/or compliance experience in accountingCPA is preferredTechnical expertise in S-Corporation & Partnership taxation and multi-entity structuresIn-depth knowledge of construction industry accounting and tax issues, including long-term contracts (Section 460, bonding, and state nexus) - preferredExceptional verbal and written communication skillsComputer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technologyExperience managing a teamThis role may be remote\n$98,500 - $160,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
