Discover a top-rated culture, vast growth opportunities and your next big career move with Aprio.Join Aprio's State and Local Tax team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Tax Associate, State Income and Franchise Tax to join their dynamic team.\nPosition Responsibilities:Developing strong client relationships on various tax consulting/compliance engagementsAdvising clients on a variety of issues including multistate tax planning, accounting for income taxes, restructuring, audit defense, and due diligencePreparing complex multistate tax compliance and consulting projects requiring tax analysis for entities and their affiliatesResearching and analyzing a wide range of tax issues and tax implications including pass-through entity taxes, apportionment methodology, unitary filings, and nexus considerationsManaging engagement workflow and engagement team resourcesProviding leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement teamQualifications:2+ years of overall tax experience1-2 years of SALT specific experience, requiredCPA or JD preferredAbility to work with a fully remote teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and interact effectively at all organizational levelsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesAbility to travel on as needed basis\n$70,000 - $124,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
