Must have skills : Data Security, Database Activity Monitoring Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing IBM Guardium Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solutions to protect sensitive data, ensure regulatory compliance, and detect unauthorized database activity across enterprise environments. The role involves close collaboration with security, database, audit, and compliance teams to deliver robust data security operations. Roles & Responsibilities: Own the end to end IBM Guardium DAM platform, including Collectors, Aggregators, Central Manager (CM), and associated storage components. Perform platform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management across production and non production environments. Manage capacity planning, performance tuning, and high availability to ensure platform scalability and resilience. Monitor platform health, system logs, disk utilization, CPU/memory consumption, and retention policies Expected to be an SME. Collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Facilitate training sessions to enhance team knowledge on security protocols. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented security measures. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Security, Database Activity Monitoring(IBM Guardium) Strong experience with IBM Guardium Data Protection / Guardium DAM knowledge of database platforms such as: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, DB2, Sybase Experience with agent and network based database monitoring Knowledge of SQL, database auditing, and access controls Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Security/Databas Activity Monitoring(IBM Guardium). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
