Project Role : Application Support Engineer Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. Must have skills : Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft PowerShell, SharePoint Online Good to have skills : Power Platform Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service that identifies and resolves issues within various components of critical business systems. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring that all applications run smoothly to support business operations effectively. You will engage with users to understand their challenges and work diligently to implement solutions that enhance system functionality and user experience. Key Responsibilities: Exchange Server & M365: Plan and execute Exchange Server SE upgrades (e.g., Exchange 2016 to Exchange 2022). Manage hybrid Exchange environments including mail flow, connectors, and coexistence. Perform mailbox migrations from On-Prem to M365. Monitor and maintain Exchange infrastructure for performance, availability, and security. Collaborate with AD and security teams for seamless integration and compliance. Perform mail flow testing, troubleshooting, and TLS/SSL certificate migration. Manage Exchange On-Prem server health checks, patching, and compliance activities. Maintain Exchange Online connectors, transport rules, and RBAC roles. Power Platform: Design and develop PowerApps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards to automate business processes. Integrate Power Platform solutions with Exchange, SharePoint, and other M365 services. Provide governance and best practices for Power Platform usage across departments. SharePoint: Administer SharePoint Online and On-Prem environments. Develop and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, and workflows. Ensure SharePoint security, permissions, and compliance with organizational policies. Required Skills & Experience: Strong knowledge of Exchange hybrid configurations and M365 migration strategies. Experience with Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI). Proficiency in SharePoint Online and/or SharePoint Server. Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and certificate management. Scripting skills (PowerShell) for automation and reporting. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator or equivalent Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft 365. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
