Project Role : Security Architect Project Role Description : Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Must have skills : Security Threat Hunting Good to have skills : NA Minimum 18 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As part of the Cyber Resilience team, this role will be responsible for leading and strengthening proactive threat hunting capability, defining threat hunting strategies, frameworks, and operational standards to identify advanced threats and reduce risk. A typical day involves guiding hunt activities, mentoring senior resources, collaborating with security stakeholders, and ensuring threat hunting efforts are aligned with business and risk priorities. Roles & Responsibilities: Define and own the threat hunting technology strategy, ensuring alignment with enterprise security objectives, risk appetite, and business priorities. Provide executive oversight of the threat hunting technology stack, ensuring scalability, resilience, and interoperability. Guide architectural decisions for data ingestion, enrichment, analytics, and automation. Define the operating model for threat hunting technology, including roles, responsibilities, and decision rights. Provide guidance and solutions to complex security problems impacting multiple teams or functions. Establish KPIs and maturity metrics (coverage, detection depth, hunt effectiveness, time-to-value). Act as a senior advisor to CISO, SOC leadership, and risk stakeholders on threat hunting technology capabilities. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices. Set the long-term vision for threat hunting maturity across the organization. Evaluate and sponsor emerging technologies (AI/ML-driven detection, automation, advanced telemetry). Professional & Technical Skills: Oversee continuous improvement of processes, tooling efficiency, and analyst enablement. Solid understanding of incident response processes, investigation techniques, and containment strategies. Establish governance frameworks for threat hunting platforms, tooling, and analytics (e.g., SIEM, EDR, NDR, UEBA). Mentor senior technologists and hunt leaders on strategic thinking and technical depth. Familiarity with threat actor TTPs and frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and advisory skills. Represent the organization in internal forums and external engagements as a thought leader in threat hunting technology. Additional Information: This position is based at the Gurugram office. Minimum 18 years of cybersecurity experience, with a strong focus on threat hunting and proactive security operations. Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI) are preferred.
