Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead) Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. Must have skills : DevOps Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Quality Engineering Lead, you will lead a team of quality engineers, guiding them through the complexities of multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the acceleration of delivery while maintaining high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. You will apply your business and functional knowledge to develop comprehensive testing strategies, utilizing quality processes and methodologies to enhance the overall testing framework. Engaging with your team, you will focus on defining and implementing key metrics to effectively manage and assess the testing process, including test execution and defect resolution. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality engineering. - Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps. - Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices in Gitlab CI/CD. - Building & Deploying Java application on Kubernetes/ Openshift. - Hands-On knowledge on Shell Script, with Oracle SQL knowledge, Monitoring tools Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana. - Basic knowledge on Tyk/API Gateway, IAM Roles, Kafka/MQ, Hashicorp Vault will be an added advantage.) - Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure management. - Ability to implement and manage version control systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
