Supplier Relationship Management involves building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain. This role includes evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and resolving any issues that arise. It also involves collaborating with suppliers to improve quality and efficiency. The goal is to foster positive and productive partnerships that benefit both the organization and its suppliers. Supplier relationship management (SRM) is the discipline of strategically planning for, and managing, all interactions with third party organizations that supply goods and/or services to maximize the value of those interactions. Develops metrics for tracking supplier KPIs focusing on Cost to Serve, Cycle time, Contract compliance and Customer Satisfaction.
