Project Role : Database Administrator Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution. Must have skills : Oracle Database Administration (DBA) Good to have skills : NA Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with various teams to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also contributing to strategic decisions that impact the overall database architecture and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate training sessions for junior team members to enhance their skills. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration. - Strong understanding of database design principles and best practices. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database systems. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database management. - Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
