Strategy and Consulting is one of four services –the others are Interactive, Technology and Operations WORK YOU’LL DO: As a Senior Back-end Developer you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly-performant, customized and responsive applications that meet business process and application requirements. The developed and innovative applications will be integrated with data services like Data Science, AI or IoT. Your day to day tasks will include participating in the daily scrums, shaping and coding the back-end components of the user stories, unit testing the code and committing it into the repository. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and optimize back-end systems for high-performing web applications using Python (Django, FastAPI). Develop and maintain APIs (REST/GraphQL) to enable secure and efficient data exchange across applications. Architect scalable solutions ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability in production environments. Manage databases (SQL & NoSQL), write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity across large-scale systems. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to maintain code quality and support rapid deployments. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and data engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions. Ensure application security and compliance by applying best practices in authentication, authorization, and data protection. Leverage containerization and cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS/GCP) for deployment and scalability. Mentor junior developers by reviewing code, sharing best practices, and fostering continuous learning. Stay up to date with modern web technologies and introduce improvements to enhance system performance and developer productivity.
