Role Summary SEO Specialists execute the day-to-day of Search Engine Optimization programs—turning strategy into actionable work, performing technical and content optimizations, and delivering measurable improvements in organic visibility, traffic, and conversions. They partner with SEO Leads/Managers and cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Content, Web Development) to implement best practices, analyze performance, and iterate continuously. The differences by level focus on complexity of assignments, autonomy, ownership, and impact scope. Core Responsibilities Execute on-page and technical SEO tasks (titles/meta, headers, internal linking, schema, CWV, crawlability, indexation). Conduct keyword research, build keyword mapping, and produce content briefs aligned to user intent. Monitor rankings/visibility, traffic, and conversions; analyze GA4 & GSC data and propose optimizations. Create tickets with clear acceptance criteria for dev fixes; validate implementations (crawls, logs, rendering). Build recurring reports/dashboards (Looker Studio/Data Studio, GA4, GSC) and communicate insights in business-friendly language. Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retros); estimate tasks realistically and provide status updates. Stay current on search & AI-assisted SEO trends and share learnings with the team. Focus & Scope Executes well-defined tasks on single websites or sections under guidance from the SEO Lead/Manager. Works from established playbooks and checklists; grows toward independent task ownership. Typical Work On-page optimization for existing content; implements basic schema (Article, FAQ, Product) and validates. Runs routine technical checks (crawl errors, canonical issues, redirect chains, robots/sitemaps) and raises tickets. Supports content briefs and intent mapping for low–mid competition keyword clusters.
