The Contracting Specialist is an advanced individual contributor responsible for independently leading procurement contracting projects within the Source‑to‑Contract (S2C) lifecycle. The role applies strong analytical skills, business judgment, and contracting expertise to deliver high-quality agreements, negotiate legal and commercial terms, and ensure compliance with client requirements and established playbook guidelines. Key Responsibilities Independently lead contracting projects across procurement agreements using client templates and playbooks, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency. Own redlining of contract documents, propose alternative language, and negotiate legal terms with suppliers, escalating only when exceptions fall outside established playbook guidance. Independently negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, coordinating with sourcing managers for subject‑matter expertise when required, and ensuring commercial terms are accurately reflected in contract language. Advise stakeholders on contract interpretation, compliance risks, and governance standards, providing clear guidance to sourcing managers and client teams. Prepare, maintain, and communicate contract status, compliance requirements, risks, and modifications in alignment with global and regional contracting procedures. Serve as a liaison with Legal and the Contracting COE for escalations, governance alignment, and policy compliance. Champion AI‑enabled and digital contracting tools, applying enterprise‑approved assistants to streamline redlining, clause review, summarization, and reporting, ensuring validation and compliance. Tailor communications for diverse audiences, preparing clear updates and summaries for stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams. Manage multiple concurrent contracting workstreams, delivering results in dynamic, fast‑paced, and matrixed environments. Minimum required education: High School Diploma. Advanced English written and spoken.
