The Public Service industry group spans the following sub-sectors: Border services Cities, Transport & Infrastructure Defense Education Non-profit Post & Parcel Public Health Public Safety Revenue Social Services Principal Duties and Responsibilities As a Consultant in Workforce Development, you will play a critical role in driving client engagements and delivering measurable outcomes. Consultants are expected to own and lead significant workstreams, bringing in-depth subject matter expertise. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery: Lead specific workstreams or modules across client engagements, including economic analysis, policy design, program structuring, and implementation planning. Client Engagement: Interact directly with client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate hypotheses, and present insights; contribute to the development of actionable recommendations and policy interventions. Knowledge Building: Support the development of thought leadership, best practice frameworks, and proprietary methodologies in areas such as labor market strategy, skill development, and economic diversification. Capability Development: Strengthen expertise in economic modeling, workforce strategy design, and program implementation; stay abreast of global best practices and emerging trends in economic and human capital development. Collaboration: Work seamlessly across global, cross-functional teams, supporting senior consultants and managers in delivering measurable client impact and overseeing junior analysts’ contributions.
