The Contracting Manager CL8 is responsible for leading complex contracting activities within the Source-to-Contract (S2C) lifecycle, applying advanced contracting expertise, sound business judgment, and strong analytical capabilities. The role requires independence, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring compliance with client requirements, internal governance, and contracting playbooks. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end, multi-phase contracting projects across procurement and sourcing agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. Independently review, draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial and legal terms, escalating only high-risk or non-standard items outside established playbooks. Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers in alignment with sourcing strategies, ensuring agreements are clearly documented and auditable. Serve as a primary point of contact for client and internal stakeholders, providing clear, solution-oriented contracting guidance. Mentor and coach junior contracting resources, sharing best practices and contributing to capability development within the team. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of contracting playbooks, templates, governance models, and standard operating procedures. Prepare, track, and communicate contract status, risks, compliance matters, and key modifications in partnership with cross-functional teams including Legal, Sourcing, COE, and Procurement. Champion the adoption of AI-enabled and digital contracting tools, including enterprise-approved assistants, clause review solutions, and reporting capabilities. Tailor communications for diverse audiences, including executives, clients, suppliers, and cross-functional partners. Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing priorities in dynamic, matrixed, and multi-region environments.
