What you will be doing: As a Procurement Sourcing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our procurement processes and ensuring cost effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to Developing Sourcing Strategies Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and develop comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives. Identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier consolidation. Supplier Identification and Evaluation Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, financial stability, and ethical practices. Build and maintain relationships with strategic suppliers to ensure reliable and sustainable partnerships. Negotiation and Contract Management Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements. Draft, review, and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Continuously monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies. Cost Analysis and Budget Management Analyze total cost of ownership and conduct cost benefit analysis to optimize procurement decisions. Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Risk Assessment and Mitigation Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor geopolitical, economic, and industry trends that may impact sourcing activities, proactively addressing any challenges or disruptions. Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes, streamline workflows, and optimize resource utilization. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in strategic sourcing and procurement.
