Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL-based applications in a z/OS mainframe environment Write and optimise complex SQL queries for DB2 for z/OS Integrate COBOL applications with DB2 databases and IBM MQ messaging systems Manage user access and system security using RACF Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning Collaborate with testers, analysts, and DevOps engineers Contribute to system documentation and knowledge sharing Support continuous improvement and modernisation efforts using Micro Focus tools
