Visit us at www.accenture.com Role: Data Engineering, Management & Governance Senior Manager / Manager / Associate Manager / Specialist Role Purpose: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to collect, process, and store data. Ensure data is accurate and usable for reporting and data science. Leverage cloud engineering, data integration, and big data engineering to enhance data systems. Identify and implement solutions to establish all data management capabilities and identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business growth and innovation. Implement and manage data platforms across on-premises and cloud environments to ensure efficient data infrastructure, security, compliance, and observability. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance across the organisation. Develop standards for data management, accessibility, and usage to support informed decision-making Role Responsibilities: • Data Engineering - Build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to collect, process, and store data, leveraging big data engineering with strong cloud knowledge - Develop scalable data workflows using ETL tools, SQL, Python, and big data technologies. Ensure data is accurate and usable for reporting and data science • Data & AI Platform Engineering - Design, implement, and manage complex data pipelines and infrastructure within data platforms, focusing on performance, stability, and data quality - Optimise and maintain data pipelines to improve platform efficiency, ensuring compliance with security and observability standards • Data Governance - Lead the design and implementation of data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements - Develop policies and best practices for data access, classification, and stewardship, working closely with data, IT, and compliance teams
