We are currently hiring a Medical Officer role to support our Reliance Family Clinic Team. This role is part of our clinical team, dedicated to delivering high-quality primary care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be confident in providing appropriate counselling to patients of all ages and varying levels of health literacy and will have a strong interest in contributing to ongoing innovations that enhance primary care delivery. Responsibilities Provide Quality Patient Care See patients and listen carefully to their health concerns. Examine patients, order tests, and make clear treatment plans. Give safe, evidence-based care following clinic guidelines. Write notes and prescriptions neatly and on time. Educate and Counsel Patients Explain health conditions and treatment plans in plain language. Teach patients how to take medicines and when to come for review. Encourage healthy habits such as good diet, exercise, and rest. Check that patients understand what to do at home. Work with Other Medical Team members Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, and other team members for excellent patient care delivery. Share updates and referrals clearly with other healthcare providers and specialists. Help new staff learn clinical routines and patient-care steps. Improve Health Programs and Services Join efforts to track clinic performance and patient outcomes. Support community health checks and wellness programs. Help collect data for reports and improvement plans from health checks and wellness programs. Ensure Professional Conduct Keep patient information private and secure. Be on time, respectful, and ready to work well with others. Follow all clinic rules and medical ethics. Keep learning to stay up to date in medical practice.   Required: Minimum qualification of MBBS or MBChB or its equivalent from a recognized institution. 0 - 1 year Post NYSC experience Valid license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Completed NYSC with evidence of NYSC discharge certificate or exemption. Stay within 10km radius of the specific RFC applied for. Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with digital health tools or EMR systems (not explicitly listed but highly valuable). Previous experience in public speaking and health education. Ability to work 12hours shift within a clinic setting.
