We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Software Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Your tasks Definition of test plans and test cases; Construction of test scenarios and scripts; Execution of tests; Test coordination; Reporting of test results; Design, prepare and perform end-to-end tests (mixing automated and manual tests); Design, prepare and perform system integration testing (mixing automated and manual tests); Investigate bugs to find root causes in a complex web of applications, test and validate bug fixes; Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers. University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 15 years; Hands-on experience in the manual Testing; Experience with Test Management Tools, notably Zephyr; Experience with Defect Tracking tools, notably Jira; Strong experience with testing technologies, tools and techniques; Experience in test data management and SQL database operations (e.g. Oracle); Experience with agile methodology (Scrum); Experience with System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing; Experience with Business Process Modelling; Optional certification : ISTQB certification or equivalent; Excellent command of the English language.
