SUPO) The Mission of the Staff Electronics Engineer Design and own the high-reliability mixed-signal electronics that power ICEYE’s SAR satellite constellation, with end-to-end accountability for critical spacecraft systems. Set the technical direction for spacecraft electronics by shaping long-term hardware strategy, scaling best practices across teams, and architecting solutions built for both today’s missions and future growth. Critical electronic systems are owned end-to-end, with clear accountability and predictable delivery across development and lifecycle phases. The satellite electronics platform continuously advances through the adoption of new technologies, data-driven decisions, and internal customer feedback. Engineering discipline, standards, and best practices are consistently applied across teams, improving hardware quality and development efficiency. Future mission and scaling needs are anticipated through forward-looking system architectures and robust development processes. Engineering capability is multiplied across the organization through effective mentoring, technical leadership, and knowledge sharing. Role-specific Competences Minimum of 10 years of experience in electronics engineering, preferably in embedded or aerospace systems. Proven track record pushing technical boundaries in board-level design, from schematics and PCB layout to simulation and advanced measurement. Ability to lead complex, cross-functional hardware initiatives with significant organizational impact. Skilled in using data strategically to guide design decisions and influence technical direction. Recognized for deep business awareness—designing systems that meet both engineering excellence and business objectives. Exceptional communicator and collaborator, trusted to represent ICEYE’s technology internally and externally. Nice to have Experience in Python and Linux-based scripting. Familiarity with PLM systems. Deep understanding of on orbit design challenges such as radiation, thermal behavior and continuous operation.
