What you will work on Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable and reliable Kotlin code Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization What you bring University and/or Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field Relevant experience in software development Experience in launching one or more Android apps, currently available on Google Play will be considered as an advantage Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git Constantly learn, improve on your skills, share knowledge and adapt to processes and convention Desired Technical Skills 4+ years of Android software development 1+ years of Kotlin software development will be considered as a huge advantage Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies Programming Experience interfacing with server APIs via JSON Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services Familiarity with functional programming principles Familiarity in algorithms and complexity What we offer We truly value our people at Novibet!
