Role: HR  Specialist Location: 100% remote Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm PST Conditions: Independent Contractor | Long Term About the Company The company is a fast-growing technology platform operating in the e-commerce and digital intelligence space, supporting brands with data-driven insights, compliance, and operational excellence. Scope of the Role The HR Specialist will support the full employee lifecycle, ensuring smooth HR operations across a global remote workforce. This role is hands-on and operational, focused on people processes, compliance, documentation, and day-to-day employee support. You will partner closely with leadership to maintain a strong people foundation while the company continues to scale. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end HR operations for a fully remote, international team Own onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless employee experience Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation Support payroll coordination and contractor compliance across multiple regions Act as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and processes Assist with performance review cycles and feedback processes Support hiring operations in collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers Help define, document, and improve HR policies and internal processes Ensure compliance with labour regulations for contractors and remote workers Support company culture initiatives, engagement, and internal communications Requirements: 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role Strong experience supporting remote and international teams Solid understanding of HR operations, contracts, and compliance for contractors Experience working with HRIS tools and documentation systems High level of organisation and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment Comfortable partnering with leadership and cross-functional teams Experience in tech, SaaS, or e-commerce environments is a strong plus
