This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 420000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 4.2-6 LPA) Min Experience: 3 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time The Assistant HR Manager will support end-to-end human resources operations across multiple locations. This role plays a key part in managing people processes including recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement, performance management, and HR compliance, while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture aligned with organisational objectives. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and onboarding. Support induction programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires. Coordinate exit formalities and maintain accurate employee lifecycle records. HR Operations & Administration Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Handle attendance tracking, leave management, and support salary and payroll coordination. Address employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures. Compliance & Policy Management Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and labour laws. Support implementation of HR best practices and internal guidelines. Performance Management & Engagement Assist in performance management cycles, appraisals, and documentation. Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communication, and workplace programs. Coordinate training and development activities as required. Experience & Skills Experience: 3–5+ years in HR operations or a similar role Core Skills: Recruitment, Payroll Coordination, HR Operations Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities
