This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 6 years Location: Kerala, Karnataka JobType: full-time The Regional Manager – Retail Sales will be responsible for driving mutual fund retail sales across the assigned region through strategic relationship management, consultative selling, and market expansion. The role focuses on achieving AUM growth, market share, and profitability by building and managing a strong network of IFAs, distributors, and channel partners . Experience & Qualifications 10–12 years of experience in Retail Mutual Fund Sales / AMC industry MBA or equivalent qualification preferred (not mandatory) Strong, established relationships with IFAs, distributors, and channel partners in the respective region Proven track record of meeting sales targets, driving revenue growth, and managing teams Self-driven, target-oriented professional with strong business development and relationship management skills Key Responsibilities Drive overall retail sales performance for the assigned region and achieve AUM, revenue, and market share targets Develop and execute region-specific sales and distribution strategies aligned with overall business objectives Identify and tap new growth opportunities by expanding IFA and distributor networks Build, strengthen, and manage long-term relationships with key partners and clients Lead, mentor, and motivate regional and area sales teams to deliver consistent performance Conduct regular market visits, track competitor activity, and share market insights with senior leadership Ensure adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance guidelines Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to enhance sales effectiveness and customer experience Drive regional profitability and sustainable long-term growth Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline, and market intelligence to leadership Key Skills Retail Sales Mutual Fund / AMC Sales Channel Sales & Channel Management Multi-channel Distribution Asset Management Relationship Management & Business Development
