This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 2500000 (ie INR 20-25 LPA) Location: Surat (HQ) | Metro cities possible with monthly Surat visits JobType: full-time This is a non-traditional Business Development role focused on building and scaling the retail engine. The role owns retail expansion end to end—store launches, performance, P&L, and team building—while working closely with the Founder and senior leadership to create a scalable, high-performing retail network. Key Responsibilities Retail Expansion & Store Launches Identify and evaluate high-potential mall and high-street retail locations. Lead end-to-end store openings across company-owned and franchise formats. Drive commercial negotiations, manage timelines, and ensure flawless launch execution. Store Performance & Operations Drive revenue growth, conversions, and profitability across existing and new stores. Own multi-unit P&L with a focus on operational efficiency and cost control. Ensure a consistent, premium customer experience across all retail locations. Team Building & Leadership Hire, train, and manage store managers and frontline retail teams. Define performance standards, KPIs, and incentive structures. Build scalable retail processes, SOPs, and playbooks to support expansion. Success Metrics Open 4–5 new stores within the first 6 months. Deliver 20%+ growth across existing stores. Launch 10+ stores and drive ₹50–70 Cr in revenue within 12 months. Build and scale a high-performing retail team across locations.
