The technology is built—but the story, positioning, and go-to-market motion are yet to be defined. This is where you come in. As the Founding Product Marketer , you won’t be handed a roadmap—you’ll create it. This role is about ownership, judgment, and shaping how the product is understood, adopted, and valued in the market. If you’re energized by ambiguity and enjoy building from zero, this role will feel like home. If you prefer predefined playbooks and tightly scoped execution, this may not be the right fit. What You’ll Own (0 → 1) Product positioning, messaging, and core narrative Website and landing page product copy Launch communication across email, LinkedIn, and product updates Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and persona definition, with ongoing refinement post-launch Content that educates users, supports demand, and clarifies value Close collaboration with founders, product, and sales teams You will decide what we say, who we say it to, and why it matters . What You Will Not Be Given A ready-made playbook Step-by-step instructions A large team to delegate to You’ll be trusted to think independently, prioritize effectively, and figure things out. This Role Is For You If You’ve worked in early-stage SaaS or fast-moving environments You can translate product capabilities into clear customer value You hold strong opinions but update them based on evidence You’ve built something from scratch—even if it was messy You take initiative and don’t wait for direction This Role Is Not For You If You need constant guidance You’re only comfortable executing predefined tasks You prefer polished scale over building from uncertainty
