This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 8-12 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Rajkot, Gandhinagar, JobType; full-time The Branch Manager will play a key role in expanding the company’s footprint in Life and Health Insurance , ensuring sustainable growth, strong partner relationships, and consistent revenue performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage the Agency Sales Channel for Life and Health Insurance products within the assigned branch/territory. Recruit, train, and onboard insurance advisors/agents and build a high-performing agency team from scratch. Drive business acquisition , premium growth, and market penetration through the agency channel. Set clear sales goals, monitor agent performance, and ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets . Coach, mentor, and motivate the agency team to improve productivity, activation, and retention. Maintain a strong on-ground presence in the market to build visibility, relationships, and local brand strength. Ensure compliance with company policies, IRDA regulations, and ethical sales practices. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities. Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews with the agency team. Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as underwriting, operations, and customer service to ensure smooth policy issuance and servicing. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Life Insurance and Health Insurance products. Proven experience in agency sales within the insurance industry. Ability to build, lead, and scale an agency team independently. Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Result-oriented mindset with strong execution and follow-through. Good understanding of the local market and distribution dynamics. Ability to work independently and handle branch-level responsibility. Eligibility Criteria Minimum 2+ years of experience in Agency Channel Insurance Sales. Experience as an Agency Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role preferred. Candidate must be from an agency background (mandatory). Exposure to both Life and Health Insurance is highly desirable.
