This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 3 years Location: Delhi, NCR JobType: full-time The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role designed as a direct COO-track position . The role involves working closely with the CEO to drive strategy execution, operational excellence, and organizational scale. Over a 12–24 month horizon, the Chief of Staff will be deeply embedded across all core business functions, building systems, processes, and leadership capabilities required to scale the organization toward operational maturity and profitability. This role acts as the CEO’s most trusted execution partner and operational anchor. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Execution & CEO Enablement Translate CEO priorities into structured execution plans with clear ownership, timelines, and KPIs Track company-wide execution and enforce delivery discipline Anticipate risks, proactively solve problems, and escalate with solutions Act as a thought partner to the CEO for decision-making and clarity Own and deliver high-priority, high-impact initiatives end to end 2. Cross-Functional Leadership Drive alignment and execution across all major functions, including: Revenue: Sales, Business Development, Marketing & Brand Operations: Customer Support, Operations, Logistics Product & Technology: Product, Engineering, Analytics Shared Functions: HR and Finance Step into interim leadership roles where required until permanent ownership is established. 3. Operational Excellence & Process Building Design and implement SOPs across departments Strengthen inter-department workflows and accountability Build dashboards for real-time business visibility Establish SLA discipline across Sales, Operations, Delivery, and Service teams Automate manual and repetitive processes Introduce company-wide operating rhythms, review cadences, and governance mechanisms 4. Product & Operations Integration (COO-track Exposure) Develop a systems-level understanding of: End-to-end workflows and process design Operational automation and tooling Resource planning and allocation Data-driven forecasting and scaling models Customer experience and service design 5. Data, Reporting & Business Intelligence Build and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly business dashboards Track revenue, unit economics, quality, and efficiency metrics Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on operational issues Recommend data-backed improvements and optimizations Present insights and action plans to the CEO 6. Special Projects Ownership Lead strategic initiatives such as: Geographic or city expansion New product or service launches Vendor and partner ecosystem development Technology and infrastructure upgrades Automation initiatives Hiring and onboarding of senior leadership roles Experience & Background Education: MBA from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 institution B.Tech in Computer Science or related fields (strongly preferred) Experience: 3–5 years in product management, program/project management, founder’s office, chief of staff, startup operations, or similar roles Proven experience working closely with founders or senior leadership Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end initiatives in fast-paced environments Core Skills Structured and strategic thinking Strong program and project management High operational rigor and execution excellence Product and business sensibility Analytical, data-driven decision-making Excellent written and verbal communication Stakeholder management across levels Ability to simplify complex problems into actionable plans
