This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 600000 (ie INR 3-6 LPA) Min Experience: 1 years Location: Kothrud pune JobType: full-time Qualification: MSc Electronics / BE / ME in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication (Diploma in Embedded Systems Design (DESD) from CDAC is an added advantage) Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Embedded Firmware Developer with strong C and C++ programming skills to design, develop, and test firmware for microcontroller-based systems. The ideal candidate should have experience working on Linux, Raspberry Pi, and embedded platforms, with a strong understanding of peripheral communication protocols and IoT technologies. This role is well-suited for candidates who can work independently in a fast-paced start-up environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement firmware for microcontroller-based systems using Embedded C/C++. Work on Linux, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and microcontroller platforms (ATMEL / NXP / Microchip). Implement and debug communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, BLE, GSM, and ESP8266/ESP32. Design, test, and troubleshoot embedded solutions for IoT and electronics projects. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with electronic components. Independently execute assignments and deliver high-quality code within deadlines. Required Skills & Experience Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systems. Hands-on experience with Linux / Raspberry Pi / Embedded C/C++ . Knowledge of microcontroller-based firmware development and peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C). Experience with ESP8266, ESP32, BLE, Arduino , and STM32 microcontrollers. Ability to work independently and adapt to a start-up environment. Exposure to machine learning applications in embedded systems is a plus.
