This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 1000000 (ie INR 3-10 LPA) Min Experience: 0 years Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh, hybrid JobType: full-time We are looking for a driven Technical Sales Engineer who can effectively bridge technology and business needs. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales capabilities to understand customer requirements, present tailored solutions, and support clients throughout the entire sales lifecycle. The position involves client engagement, product demonstrations, proposal preparation, and close collaboration with internal teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Key Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities within the textile and manufacturing sectors. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions for prospective clients. Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions from the product portfolio. Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and supporting technical documentation. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure technical accuracy and feasibility of proposed solutions. Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and deal closure. Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships. Track market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to stay competitive. Support post-sales and implementation teams during solution handover and deployment. Capture customer feedback and share insights to enhance product features and usability. Required Qualifications Must-Have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline). B.E / B.Tech qualification is mandatory. Excellent English communication and presentation skills. 0–4 years of experience in technical sales, pre-sales, or application engineering roles. Proven ability to achieve or exceed revenue targets in B2B environments. Strong capability to explain complex technical solutions in a clear and persuasive manner. Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, demonstrations, and industry events. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Experience in industrial automation, machine vision, or manufacturing technology solutions. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting processes. Knowledge of technical textiles or related manufacturing industries. Exposure to OEM sales models or channel partner management.
