This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 10 years Location: India JobType: full-time We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Engineer with deep expertise in Chromium internals and systems-level engineering. This role is ideal for a senior technologist who enjoys solving complex performance, scalability, and architecture challenges while contributing hands-on to critical codebases. Requirements 10+ years of overall software engineering experience, with minimum 4+ years of hands-on work on Chromium internals . Strong expertise in C++ design, debugging, and performance optimization . Proven experience working with distributed systems , including inter-process communication and scalability concerns. Deep understanding of memory management , profiling, and optimization in large-scale systems. Experience with gRPC or similar high-performance communication frameworks is a plus. Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. Work Model Remote or hybrid work options available (India-based).
