This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1200000 - Rs 2400000 (ie INR 12-24 LPA) Min Experience: 5 years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to manage, support, and enhance our ServiceNow platform to ensure high availability, performance, and alignment with business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in ServiceNow administration, platform configuration, and operational support across ITSM and related modules. This role requires close collaboration with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver a stable, scalable, and continuously improving ServiceNow environment. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. Configure and manage core ServiceNow modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, Knowledge Management, CMDB, and Asset Management . Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including user management, role assignments, groups, access controls, and data integrity. Manage ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and hotfixes, including testing and validation in non-production environments. Monitor system health, performance, and integrations, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Design and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, notifications, forms, and dashboards as per operational requirements. Ensure CMDB accuracy by managing data sources, relationships, discovery processes, and reconciliation rules. Support ServiceNow integrations with third-party tools using REST, SOAP, MID Server, and other integration methods. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for ServiceNow-related incidents and service requests. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow configurations. Maintain platform documentation, SOPs, and governance standards. Ensure compliance with security, audit, and organizational policies. Support reporting and analytics using Performance Analytics and standard ServiceNow reports. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–10 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Administration . Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM modules and platform administration best practices. Solid understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, and security framework. Experience with ServiceNow upgrades, instance management, and release cycles. Working knowledge of scripting using JavaScript , including business rules and client scripts (administrative-level usage). Experience managing CMDB, Discovery, and data integrations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) . Experience with additional modules like ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or SecOps. Exposure to ITIL processes and IT service management frameworks.
