The position focuses on delivering high-quality, inquiry-driven mathematics instruction aligned with International Baccalaureate philosophy and standards. Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons for IBDP and MYP in alignment with IB curriculum frameworks Foster inquiry-based, concept-driven learning that promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills Design and assess formative and summative assessments in line with IB assessment criteria Guide students in internal assessments, explorations, and exam preparation for IBDP Mathematics Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs and learning styles Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance mathematical understanding Maintain accurate academic records, assessments, and student progress reports Provide academic mentoring and support to students beyond classroom instruction Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation, and interdisciplinary learning Communicate effectively with parents, boarding staff, and school leadership Participate in professional development, school activities, and residential life programs What Makes You a Great Fit Strong subject expertise in Mathematics with experience teaching IBDP and/or MYP Sound understanding of IB philosophy, learner profile, and assessment practices Passion for student-centered, inquiry-based teaching methodologies Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs in a residential school setting Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools Collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous professional growth Willingness to contribute actively to both academic and residential school life
