LaBella is currently seeking an entry-level Environmental Scientist with approximately 0 to 3 years of experience and staffed in Richmond, Virginia. The position will be in our Environmental Permitting and Compliance Group and will require someone who is willing to work on a variety of different tasks and projects simultaneously through Virginia and Maryland. Duties: Fieldwork duties include, but are not limited to, wetland and stream delineations, habitat assessments, soil and groundwater sampling, and stormwater inspections. Ability to complete high quality technical reports. Ability to complete GIS mapping associated with fieldwork efforts. Willingness to travel throughout Virginia and Maryland for field work with senior field crew. Willingness to work on additional environmental tasks as assigned. 0 to 3 years of experience required/preferred. B.S. degree in Environmental, Biology, Ecology or related field of study. Travel for field work throughout Virginia and Maryland for field work with senior field crew. ArcPro or GIS experience, preferred. Strong communication skills. Ability to complete high quality technical reports. Ability to complete GIS mapping associated with fieldwork efforts.
