This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 5 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time We are looking for an experienced AEM Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . This role requires a strong full-stack mindset , combining deep expertise in AEM backend development with modern frontend technologies to deliver robust, user-centric web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and other engineers to build and optimize enterprise-grade content management solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience across the entire AEM stack , from authoring and workflows to backend services and frontend components. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and enhance applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) , including AEM Sites and core components. Build and customize AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services using Sling, OSGi, and JCR . Develop and integrate backend services using Java , REST APIs, and AEM frameworks. Implement responsive, high-quality UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and modern frontend frameworks/libraries as required. Work as a Full Stack Developer , contributing to both frontend and backend architecture decisions. Integrate AEM with third-party systems, APIs, and enterprise platforms. Ensure code quality through best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and performance optimization. Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and long-term fixes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Participate in release planning, deployments, and ongoing maintenance of AEM applications. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–10 years of overall development experience , with strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . Solid understanding of AEM architecture , including Sling Models, OSGi services, JCR, workflows, and AEM dispatcher. Strong backend development skills using Java and RESTful services. Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer , working across frontend and backend layers. Proficiency in frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS , and modern UI frameworks. Experience with build and deployment tools such as Maven , Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of performance tuning, security best practices, and scalability in AEM applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in complex environments. Good to Have Experience with AEM Cloud Service or AEM as a Cloud platform. Exposure to Adobe Marketing Cloud integrations. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
