This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 4 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to lead and manage cross-functional projects from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong grip on project execution, MIS reporting, stakeholder coordination , and compliance-driven environments typical of pharma operations. This role requires a balance of strategic planning, operational rigor, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Project Management & Execution Plan, execute, monitor, and close pharmaceutical projects in line with defined scope, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams. Develop detailed project plans, milestones, risk registers, and mitigation strategies. Track project progress and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance. MIS & Reporting Design, manage, and maintain Management Information Systems (MIS) for ongoing projects. Prepare periodic MIS reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, delays, and improvement opportunities. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of project-related data. Pharmaceutical Compliance & Governance Ensure all projects adhere to pharmaceutical regulatory standards such as GxP, GMP, SOPs , and internal compliance requirements. Support audits, inspections, and documentation related to project activities. Maintain proper project documentation, approvals, and change control records. Stakeholder & Communication Management Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication. Facilitate regular project review meetings and status updates. Manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and expectation management. Escalate risks and issues proactively with actionable recommendations. Process Improvement & Optimization Identify opportunities to improve project execution, reporting efficiency, and MIS processes. Implement best practices, templates, and standard operating procedures for project management. Support digital tools and systems for project tracking and reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications 4–8 years of experience as a Project Manager , preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry . Strong understanding of pharmaceutical project lifecycles and regulatory environments. Proven experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation . Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint; ERP exposure is a plus). Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and documentation. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment. Education Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field. PMP / PRINCE2 or other project management certification is an added advantage.
