Role Overview The Senior Growth Manager owns the performance, efficiency, and strategic direction of paid media investments across digital and retail media channels. This role sits at the intersection of media buying, financial performance management, and growth strategy. You will oversee media spend across DTC, retailer media networks, and Amazon PPC—combining hands-on execution with agency management. The role requires strong analytical rigor, close collaboration with Finance and Marketing leadership, and the ability to translate performance data into confident investment decisions that fuel profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Media Buying & Optimization Manage and oversee media spend across Meta, TikTok , Google, YouTube, retailer media networks (display & video), and Amazon PPC. Execute ad buying directly where applicable and manage external agencies for other platforms. Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance to ensure efficient spend and strong ROAS. Partner closely with Finance to align advertising investments with performance thresholds and profitability targets. Develop and present data-driven recommendations for scaling spend when performance supports additional investment. Create and maintain clear media plans for both campaign-based and always-on media. Build and share performance dashboards with key stakeholders, highlighting insights and optimization opportunities. Ecommerce Forecasting & Strategic Planning Own the ecommerce sales forecast for DTC and Amazon in collaboration with internal teams and agency partners. Develop and execute media strategies aligned with broader business objectives. Collaborate with the VP of Marketing, Finance, and Leadership Team to align on budget allocation and performance goals. Research and evaluate new marketing and advertising channels, building business cases and structured test plans for potential investment. Amazon Channel Oversight Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon advertising performance, managing the external agency responsible for Amazon media and sales support. Oversee Amazon ad spend strategy to ensure efficiency, growth, and strong TACOS performance. Support the transition of broader Amazon business management to the incoming Director of Ecommerce, while retaining ownership of Amazon media buying and performance oversight. Expectations & Success Metrics Drive continuous improvement in advertising efficiency and ROAS across all channels. Maintain tight alignment with Finance to ensure budget discipline and profitability. Deliver accurate ecommerce forecasts aligned with business goals. Confidently advocate for budget increases when performance supports incremental investment. Identify, test, and validate new channels to support future growth initiatives. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) ROAS (or objective-specific metrics such as reach, frequency, CPM, CTR) Amazon TACOS Ecommerce forecast variance Media budget variance 4+ years of experience in growth marketing, paid media, or performance marketing roles within CPG, DTC, ecommerce, or omnichannel brands. Proven experience managing significant media budgets across multiple digital channels (Meta, Google, TikTok , Amazon, or retailer media networks). Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics, financial efficiency, and media investment decision-making. Experience working with and managing external agencies, with the ability to hold partners accountable to performance goals. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, build forecasts, and translate insights into clear recommendations for leadership. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, and senior leadership teams. Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving priorities. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate performance, risks, and opportunities. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution and optimization. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
