This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 2000000 - Rs 4500000 (ie INR 20-45 LPA) Min Experience: 6 years Location: Bangalore JobType: full-time We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our client’s engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and scaling high-performance backend systems for large distributed applications. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy backend applications using Golang for highly scalable systems. Work on large distributed environments with a deep understanding of system performance, scaling, and optimization. Build low-latency, high-volume RESTful services and backend components. Apply strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed architectures, and asynchronous systems. Work effectively in Linux-based production environments. Demonstrate proficiency in OOP principles and design patterns. Lead continuous refactoring and code improvements to maintain high-quality architecture. Collaborate cross-functionally to define, scope, review, and refine technical requirements and user stories. Plan, estimate, and deliver releases predictably. Work with relational and NoSQL databases for performance-oriented data modeling. Solve complex engineering challenges with curiosity, innovation, and ownership. Communicate effectively within cross-functional engineering teams. Required Skills Must-Haves 6+ years of experience in backend engineering within large-scale distributed systems. Strong hands-on development experience in Golang. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Strong foundation in DSA and system design. Experience with Linux environments and high-performance, scalable backend systems. Good-to-Have Experience running web services at scale and knowledge of systems internals or networking. Familiarity with HTTP/HTTPS communication protocols.
