This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 12 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time We are seeking a seasoned Head – Talent Acquisition to lead and scale end-to-end hiring for a large, complex financial services organization. This role is critical to building leadership and specialist talent across BFSI verticals and requires deep expertise in executive search , workforce planning, and strategic talent management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mix of hands-on hiring experience, stakeholder management, and the ability to build future-ready talent pipelines aligned with business growth. Key Responsibilities Talent Acquisition Strategy & Leadership Own and drive the overall talent acquisition strategy aligned with business goals and long-term workforce planning. Lead hiring across leadership, senior management, and niche roles within BFSI, including retail banking, corporate banking, NBFC, insurance, fintech, risk, compliance, and technology. Build scalable TA frameworks to support rapid growth, transformation, and new business initiatives. Executive Search & Leadership Hiring Personally anchor and oversee executive search mandates for CXO, business heads, and senior leadership roles. Partner closely with Board members, CXOs, and senior stakeholders to understand leadership requirements and succession needs. Ensure best-in-class assessment, selection, and closure processes for senior hires. Stakeholder & Business Partnership Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent availability, market intelligence, compensation trends, and hiring risks. Translate business strategy into actionable hiring plans across functions and geographies. Influence decision-making through data-driven insights and strong market knowledge. Team & Process Excellence Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team. Drive continuous improvement in hiring processes, candidate experience, employer branding, and TA metrics (TAT, quality of hire, cost per hire). Leverage technology, ATS platforms, and analytics to enhance efficiency and reporting. Talent Management & Governance Collaborate with HR Business Partners on succession planning, internal mobility, and leadership development initiatives. Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance, and risk standards relevant to financial services hiring. Build strong relationships with search firms, consultants, and external partners. Mandatory Requirements 12+ years of overall experience in Talent Acquisition, with significant leadership exposure. Proven executive search experience within BFSI , including leadership and niche roles. Prior experience working within a financial services organization (banking, NBFC, insurance, fintech, asset management, etc.) in a Talent Acquisition capacity. Strong understanding of BFSI talent markets, regulatory considerations, and competitive dynamics.
