This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 5 years Location: Mumbai JobType: full-time Business Development Engineer – Roles & Responsibilities Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries and geographic regions Drive new business development initiatives by introducing solutions for existing applications and identifying new use cases for offered products Understand customer technical requirements and propose customized commercial and engineering solutions Work closely with design, production, and R&D teams to develop new applications, processes, and product improvements Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend studies to support strategic business decisions Provide technical support during client meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, and trials Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent follow-ups to close projects successfully Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and growth targets Qualifications & Skill Set Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Production Engineering 3–5 years of experience in business development, technical sales, or marketing of industrial products such as valves, pumps, piping, compressors, or related equipment Strong understanding of industrial processes and product applications Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively Willingness to travel frequently for business development activities
