This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 5-12 LPA) Min Experience: 5 years Location: pune JobType: full-time We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP implementation projects and deep functional integration across SD, MM, and FI modules. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing scalable ABAP solutions, building OData services , and working with Web Dynpro , while collaborating closely with functional teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and the ability to translate functional requirements into efficient technical designs. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP solutions to support business requirements across SAP SD, MM, and FI modules. Develop and enhance custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW objects). Build and maintain OData services for integration with SAP Fiori, third-party systems, and external applications. Develop and support applications using Web Dynpro ABAP , ensuring optimal performance and usability. Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business processes related to Sales & Distribution (SD) , Materials Management (MM) , and Financial Accounting (FI) . Participate actively in SAP implementation , rollout, upgrade, and support projects, covering all phases from requirement gathering to go-live and post-production support. Perform technical analysis and provide solutions aligned with SAP best practices and business objectives. Handle debugging, performance tuning, and optimization of existing ABAP programs. Prepare technical documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and user manuals. Support integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems using OData and other interfaces. Ensure adherence to development standards, security guidelines, and quality processes. Required Skills & Qualifications 5–8 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development . Proven experience in SAP Implementation projects , including at least one end-to-end implementation. Strong working knowledge of SAP SD, SAP MM, and FI modules and their business processes. Expertise in developing OData services and integrating SAP with external systems. Hands-on experience with Web Dynpro ABAP development. Strong understanding of ABAP Objects, data dictionary, enhancements, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs. Experience in debugging complex issues across technical and functional areas. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Good communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to SAP Fiori and UI-related developments. Experience in support and maintenance projects in addition to implementation. Understanding of SAP best practices and performance optimization techniques.
