This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 800000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 8-12 LPA) Min Experience: 4 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time The Senior Content Writer will create high-quality, authoritative content that builds trust and credibility in investing and mutual funds. This role requires strong research capabilities, structured thinking, and the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging narratives across multiple formats. Key Responsibilities Develop long-form and short-form content including blogs, in-depth articles, reports, newsletters, landing pages, website content, and email campaigns. Create SEO-driven content aligned with keyword research, content strategy, and search intent. Simplify complex financial topics such as mutual funds, market movements, and investment strategies into reader-friendly content. Produce thought leadership and educational content aligned with market trends, policy updates, and major economic events. Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and compliance teams to plan and execute content calendars. Conduct in-depth research using market data, credible financial sources, and competitor analysis to ensure accuracy and depth. Maintain consistency in brand voice, editorial standards, and content quality across all platforms. Proofread, edit, and refine content to ensure clarity, factual correctness, and regulatory compliance. Requirements & Qualifications 4–6 years of experience in financial content writing, fintech, investment platforms, or business journalism. Strong portfolio showcasing long-form content such as blogs, reports, newsletters, or market commentary. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Finance, Economics, Communications, or cleared CFA levels. Solid understanding of financial markets, mutual funds, and investment fundamentals. Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining high editorial standards. Excellent command of written English; Hindi proficiency is an added advantage. Key Skills Long-form writing and editorial structuring Financial storytelling and concept simplification SEO content fundamentals and search intent mapping Research-driven writing and fact-checking Strong grammar, clarity, and attention to detail Openness to feedback, reviews, and iterative improvement Ability to identify content opportunities from market cycles and news events Nice to Have Experience writing for financial publications or investment platforms. Familiarity with tools such as WordPress, SEMrush, HubSpot, or similar CMS and SEO platforms. Experience managing newsletters or recurring content series.
