This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 2 years Location: Kochi JobType: full-time The Data Engineer will be responsible for building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to support business decision-making. This role offers hands-on exposure to data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and analytics in a collaborative, technology-driven environment. Work Details Work Mode: Work From Office (5 days a week) Location: Kochi Experience Required: 2–5 years Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools. Query, extract, join, and aggregate data using MS SQL Server . Apply data modeling concepts to structure and manage relational databases. Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines for reliable data movement and transformation. Work with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Superset, or similar platforms . Use Python for data processing, automation, and analysis. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and usability. Required Skills Strong experience with SQL (queries, joins, aggregations). Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts . Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools . Proficiency in Python for data-related tasks. Understanding of ETL/ELT processes . Nice to Have Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP . Ideal Candidate Profile Available to join immediately or within 30 days . Comfortable working with limited US time-zone overlap (up to ~9 PM IST). Demonstrates clear intent to join and grow in a data-focused role.
