This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 10000000 - Rs 12000000 (ie INR 100-120 LPA) Min Experience: 14 years Location: Nigeria, Lagos, Ikeja, West Africa JobType: full-time The Chief Executive Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership to strengthen market positioning, drive innovation, and deliver sustainable, profitable growth across all business units. This role calls for a tech-savvy, commercially astute, and creatively driven leader who can balance visionary thinking with disciplined execution. Key Responsibilities Drive accelerated organic growth and margin expansion to enhance overall business profitability. Future-proof the organization by improving operational efficiency, scalability, and return on capital employed. Provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all functions to ensure high service standards, client satisfaction, and long-term retention. Leverage data, creativity, and digital transformation to optimize revenue growth and margin performance. Lead the development of insight-led, branded consumer experiences through contemporary advertising and marketing solutions. Build organizational agility, foster innovation, and strengthen competitive positioning. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulators, service partners, and global collaborators. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring: 15+ years of leadership experience , including 5+ years in senior executive roles , within advertising, marketing communications, or related industries, with international exposure. Strong understanding of African consumer behavior , cultural nuances, and regional market dynamics. A balanced blend of creative leadership, commercial acumen, and digital transformation expertise . High emotional intelligence, exceptional communication skills, and strong thought leadership presence. An entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (required). Postgraduate qualification preferred.
