This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Min Experience: 5 years Location: Gurugram JobType: full-time We are seeking a skilled GoLang Developer with strong backend engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience building scalable, production-grade systems. In this role, you will be responsible for designing core backend services, improving system architecture, and contributing to the overall reliability and performance of distributed systems. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Go. Build and scale microservices-based architectures for modern applications. Own backend components end to end, from system design through production deployment. Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance optimization across backend systems. Collaborate closely with product, frontend, AI, and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions. Review code and uphold engineering best practices and standards. Diagnose and resolve complex production issues, including root-cause analysis. Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Go. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. Strong knowledge of concurrency concepts, including goroutines, channels, and memory management. Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases. Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications. Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and system design capabilities. Good to Have Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. Cloud exposure across AWS, GCP, or Azure. Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. Prior experience working in high-scale or AI-driven systems.
